I am looking out the window now and all you can see is white. It is coming down so hard, you can not see anything. We are suppose to get anywhere from 10 to 20 inches of snow. Its crazy out there. I am so glad I am inside my house! Today is a great day to just chill out on the computers, bake cookies and play the wii!

I went to my first weight loss surgery meeting last night. It was very good at explaining everything from what each one is to the different risks each one has. I think I got my Mother interested in the band now! I still want the gastric bypass. From what they told us last night, people who drink a lot of soda and liquid calories are not going to do so well with the band. One thing I did learn is that when they need to access the band, they can do it from the office in most cases. I had no idea of this. I thought every time you needed something done with the band, it would require you to go to the hospital. They can do what they need to in the office with a needle. I hate needles, so I doubt this is good for me.

I am really glad I went. I had to anyways to be put on the list. I really liked both doctors. I had an appointment with the medical group tomorrow, but with all this snow, I called and canceled. There is no way I am going out in this weather and slipping and falling. That is all I need!

I am looking for a nice planner that would fit in my purse. I want to be able to put all my doctor appointments in there. I usually use my blackberry, but you never know when it may fail or crash. I have a small little planner, but its not big enough. I need something with bigger lines. I found a really nice one at CVS yesterday, it was so perfect. It had places for pictures (great for my weight loss pictures) to only find out it was 2009 calendar! Who is going to want a 2009 calendar?? It was so cute and pink. I even picked out two pink pens. I was so disappointed. I have been searching for something like it and I can’t find anything like it. When the weather gets better, I am going to check Barns and Noble and Borders to see what I can find. I would really like it thin and something that can fit in my purse. If anyone can recomend something for me that would be awesome! I even thought about getting the Momagenda planner.

Wow! Our trip to PA was definably a eventful one! We got almost to Jenn’s house and then it started to snow really hard! We stopped for dinner at Cracker Barrel (mmm chicken and dumplings!) and then we headed to Jenn’s. Her area is very hilly. I was so scared and nervous! The car wouldn’t make it up the hill, we were swerving all over. It was very scary! Never again will I do that! No trips to PA when it snows.

We had an awesome time though. Poor Jenn was sick the whole time. She looks fabulous though. I took some videos of Matthew shoveling out the car with the ridiculous amount of snow. I actually got stuck in it when I was filming it! Lol. It was so cold and the snow was freezing. I couldn’t wait to put some warmer clothes on!

So now I am doing laundry and I just finished all my work for the week! I like to stay ahead because sometimes they just dump work on me like no tomorrow. So I like being ahead just in case. Plus I have a pretty busy week this week and I won’t have to worry about my work getting done.

Tomorrow is my weight loss surgery seminar at the hospital I will be going for surgery at. I am really excited about going and getting it documented that I was there because then I will get a date for my surgery! I am really excited about all of this. I got most of my testing done already. The only thing I need to do is go for a sleep study, have a mental visit and meet with the nutritionist on Thursday to talk about my diet after the surgery. Things are really flying by, but yet its going so slow! I don’t know how I am going to make it to July! I also need to loose 25 pounds by July too.

So we are planning on going to Jenn’s as soon as Matthew gets out of work. The car is packed, car chargers and all. I just hope we get there safely. I really enjoy hanging with Jenn’s family. I wish we lived closer. Someday maybe! So I am all ready to go and dressed. Just waiting for 3:30pm to come so I can go get Matthew.

I am in love with my new phone. I know that is weird to hear that, but I do actually love my phone! Like I told the Verizon Wireless rep yesterday while picking up a case and car charger (till I found out the my other blackberry charger works in mine) Blackberry really got it right with the Curve8530. Sprint has the same phone too, but they call it 8230 I think. I can’t complain about this phone. I love it! I got a pretty pink case for it yesterday!

I think I am going to buy a dark blue housing for my old 8330 curve phone and give it to Matthew. He has been telling me he likes my keyboard. He does get a upgrade in April that he could use. I will have to find some youtube videos to find out how to take it apart without killing it.  Knowing me, I would probably fry something in it. Its worth a try thought. Plus the phone has 3G and WiFi, which I plan on testing today!

Sometimes I wonder if they start a hype to get everyone nervous and go out and spend money on food and make people crazy. I wonder actually if we will get any snow at this rate. Were under a winter storm warning till Sunday 8am, so we well see.

Last night, Matthew and I finally finished all of our Christmas shopping. Everything is wrapped and ready for the tree. I am glad it is all done and over with. I still have a gift for Matthew coming in the mail that is suppose to get here before 5pm on the 24th. Well see if it actually does.
